Pre-work
I looked online for a maze to base mine off of. I found a simple one that works for my project. I did not draw my own design on paper because I wanted to use this.
Order of Creation (Recipe)
After trying to follow the image I found online, it was getting too difficult to measure out everything so I went on my own. I sketched all of the paths (5/16 in. wide) and the border of 3/8 in. I decided on a square area, 8x8.
Next I extruded the "deadspace" (not paths) 3/4 in. because that will not be cut (it will stay the depth of the material which is 3/4 in.). Then I extruded the paths 1/4 in., because it will be cut away.
This is the finished maze in Inventor. Next I will move it to Fusion 360.
What I learned
I learned how to use inventor more. It was extra practice dimensioning things and just creating something on it. Although we did not get to the router demonstration, I believe I understand the concept of it.
